Cycling Studio in Carmel Valley Celebrates Anniversary

The Rush Celebrates One Year in Carmel Valley

Carmel Valley San Diego Community | Katherine Randall | The Rush Cycling StudioThe atmosphere is electric at The Rush Indoor Cycling Studio, where the energy level is matched only by the health benefits obtained with each class’s efficient cardio workout.

The Rush is San Diego’s original and fastest growing, multi-location, concert-style indoor cycling studio.  There are currently two locations, La Jolla and Carmel Valley, with more studios scheduled to open in 2014 and beyond.

The Rush offers a unique concert-style spin workout, complete with invigorating music and lighting.  Each session on the studio’s Keiser M3+ bikes is led by extensively trained and certified spin instructors.  A series of exercise routines, choreographed to musical beats, target different areas of the body for a full body workout.  Take a look at a class in action here.

“We concentrate on creating a synergy throughout our community so that both instructors and riders naturally inspire each other to reach their personal goals,” said Corey Spangler, co-founder of The Rush.

On Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., The Rush will celebrate the one-year anniversary of their Carmel Valley location by offering the entire community complimentary 45-minute classes throughout the day. Complimentary classes will start at the following times: 8 a.m., 9:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:45 a.m., and 1 p.m.  Bikes will need to be reserved in advance at The Rush Studio.

In addition to a day of free classes, gift bags filled with The Rush swag along with goodies from local health and fitness partners will be given out to the first 100 riders at the one-year anniversary celebration.  Guests can also enjoy complimentary light bites and drinks at the studio.

“Thanks to the enthusiasm and support from our riders, experienced cyclists and new riders alike, we’re happy to have the opportunity to celebrate the success of the Carmel Valley studio’s first year,” said Tim Suski, co-founder of The Rush.
