Are Waves the New Straight?

Carmel Valley, have you heard that waves are back in?  Unfortunately, the unruly, frizzy waves my hair naturally creates will never be in (at least we had the 80’s).  It is with deep and undying reverence that I present to you, my styling goddess, Megan Carraher.

After a horrible cut and highlights left me in tears alternately contemplating buying extensions or shaving it all off ala Britney Spears, I stumbled upon Megan’s ad on Craigslist.  I usually choose my stylist via word of mouth, but since that had led me into my current predicament, I was willing to give anything a shot.  After checking out her affordable rates and incredible Yelp reviews, I picked up the phone and booked.

This woman knows her hair.  My blonde has never looked better or brighter.  And she understands that the word trim means trim.  Under Megan’s careful hands, my hair is being transformed once again into a thing of beauty.  But I digress.

Having heard that waves are the new straight, I tried creating them at home only to look like a cross between Glenda the good witch and an 80’s prom date.  We’re talking ringlets gone bad.  Very, very bad.  Thankfully, this doesn’t have to happen to you.  Megan has graciously filmed a how to video to create those sexy, beachy waves we are all craving this spring.
