Carmel Valley FasTracKids Have Fun Making Palafitos

“Good morning, this is Kristen, Director of FasTracKids and today, we are making Venezuelan homes called palafitos. They are homes built on stilts in the water. The Carmel Valley FasTracKids are busy making them today and we’re having a really good time.

I will pan over so that you can see. So over here, we have Bella that’s coloring the ocean. The palafito’s done. Hold on, Ethan. Then over here, we’re drawing ourselves in different clothing that we might need in different kinds of climates. If you look over here, this is our interactive learning station, a smart board if you will. You can see the palafitos that the kids are making right now. Super fun day. Tune in next time and see what we’re doing.”
