Currently,  Child and Babysitter Safety, Chess Lessons for Kids, Jr. Sports, Laser Tag, Lacrosse, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, X-treme Dodge ball, Gym Kids, Girls on the Run, and Tennis are in session.  Registration began on December 10, and youth activities began shortly after.  Girls on Track started at the end of February, on the 28th, and the second session of Evolve Dance also began at the end of February.  Please continue reading below…

If you missed the cut off date for little league or Spring Beginner T-Ball, which started on March 17th, there is still so much you can get involved with at the Rec. Center.  If you’re interested and want to prepare for the next session, the goal of the Spring Beginner T-Ball is to embrace the fun of the game as well as the involvement of one’s very first jersey and team.  A couple other activities will be starting up at the end of this month and early next month, make sure to take a look at the Recreation Center’s updated program for more information.  It’s never too late to sign up!

Don’t forget that the Recreation Center is a wonderful place for families and get-togethers.  Offering a wide selection of available facilities that include: indoor multipurpose courts and fields, game room with table tennis, outdoor basketball courts, outdoor fitness stations, tennis courts, amphitheater, two playgrounds, horseshoe pits, and for the warmer days, picnic areas with barbeques.  Birthday and special occasion parties are welcome; just remember to contact the staff at the Recreation Center for availability and information.

Moms and Dad’s don’t let all these youth activities fool you!  Adult Sport Leagues are also available: softball (men’s and co-ed), co-ed kickball, co-ed volleyball, and men’s basketball.  If you have any questions, refer to the Recreation Center’s program for league director’s contact information.  These are all played on different nights of the week and offer a great source of exercise and involvement.
