A Neighborhood Favorite: Del Mar Trails Park

After a long day cooped up at work or school, it’s always nice to have a nearby park to go to in order to breathe in some fresh air and unwind after a long day.  With Del Mar Trails Park being a central location in Carmel Valley, in particularly for those living near Carmel Mountain Road and the 56 Freeway, it is a popular park and recreational area.

Del Mar Trails Park offers a variety of different amenities for residents to enjoy, such as a playground, basketball courts and plenty of green grass to partake in whatever your heart desires, whether it be a casual game of Ultimate Frisbee or simply having a picnic with a loved one.  In addition, Del Mar Trails Park is a great place to bring your four-legged friends!  With so much grassy areas to run around, your dog will be beyond tired after a short time here!

For me, there is just something nice and refreshing about going to the park, jogging around the trail, and getting in some fresh air before I retire for the night.  Not only does it relax me, but it warms my heart seeing all of the different families interacting with each other, setting up play-dates for their kids, and just enjoying nature.

If you live in or around the Carmel Valley area, be sure to visit the Del Mar Trails Park, as they definitely have something for everyone, even if you just want to throw down a blanket and watch the dogs run around.  It’s a great place to connect with others in the community, while taking advantage of our beautiful San Diego weather.

*Keep an eye out for some coming changes to the park!
