Young Entrepreneur Speaks to Students at the University of San Diego
Jason Paul Marketing Founder, Chris Placencia, joined a panel of entrepreneurs to educate young students and local professionals about the ups and downs of starting a business. As one knows, it is never easy to jump into the entrepreneurship route, one of the best ways to gain knowledge and confidence is to listen to those who have done it before or who are in the process.
Chris Placencia’s story is a unique one. Since graduating from Cal State San Marcos, Chris has been able to grow and build the Jason Paul Marketing brand in San Diego through networking, dedication, quality work and honesty. The company name stems from a good friend who passed at the age of 15 – Jason Paul Huerta. The company was named after Jason Paul in hopes to carry and honor Jason’s name.
This motivation has allowed Chris to develop a company that takes a different look at the online world. The company’s philosophy is both simple and complicated. Its goal is to infuse the online world of online marketing, website design and social media with digital media and business consulting. Taking care of its clients by going above and beyond, is what Jason Paul Marketing stands behind and has elevated the company to a high level in a short amount of time.
As the company continues to grow, so does its portfolio. Currently, Jason Paul Marketing is in the process of developing an online Restaurant Platform allowing restaurants to build and create online strategies in both web design and digital media. Along with that they are acquiring a portion of a Real Estate Technology Company and an Music Industry based Media Group.
Being an entrepreneur can be tough. Taking the dive into entrepreneurship is the hardest part, but Chris has demonstrated that with hard work, motivation and networking a company can grow and flourish.
