From beginner to intermediate to advanced, Markim offers a variety of individual and group training classes to help your dog reach its maximum potential, while give owners a peace of mind and confidence in their dogs. Every class is tailored to accommodate each individual dog, focusing on positive reinforcement and motivation.

Owners have the opportunity to practice various commands with their four-legged friends to improve obedience skills, as well as help socialize pets and fix any behavioral issues. Each class builds upon the previous weeks classes, truly reinforcing good behavior and helping owner’s provide the necessary corrections if needed

After completing all of the classes, the handler and dog can undergo a short behavioral evaluation, where they must complete ten different objectives. After passing the evaluation, the dog will earn a Canine Good Citizen certificate, signifying they are a well-mannered dog. Each class you participate in at Markim Pet Resort prepares you for these types of certifications, leaving you feeling confident in your pet’s abilities.

In addition to the different training classes, Markim offers a wide variety of activities for pets, including swimming in a heated pool, group and private play sessions and dog agility training. There are more than enough classes and activities to keep your dog entertained!
