RCHS Pet of the Month for Carmel Valley Life – December 2015

Carmel Valley San Diego Community | John Van Zante | Rhiannon“Rhiannon” is the Carmel Valley Life Pet of the Month at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s an 8 month old, 6 pound, Medium Hair Tabby.

Rhiannon was found abandoned in a wire crate with several other cats. They were rescued and taken to an animal shelter for temporary care. Rhiannon was later transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the ROCAS program. In spite of her rough start, Rhiannon is sweet, friendly, and completely healthy.

She loves other cats and might like some children and other animals to play with in her new home.

The $100 adoption fee for Rhiannon includes medical exam, vaccinations, spay, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to www.sdpets.org. Kennels and Cattery open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day but Tuesday.

Shameless Plugs:

During the holiday season and throughout the year the Community Pet Food Bank at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society  provides supplies for the pets of senior citizens, families that are working poor, people with disabilities or terminal illnesses, veterans, and members of the homeless community. No family should be forced to give up their pet because they can’t afford a bag of pet food. For more information or to make a donation visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, call 760-753-6413, or log on to www.sdpets.org.
